push back racking

push back racking,with carts that move on a rail system, offer the same storage density as drive-in & drive-thru racks but greater selectivity. Pallets are loaded on carts and each pallet could be "pushed back" on a separate cart, then loads in each lane rest on a cart on a rail that slopes gently toward the front. Push-back Rack can be configured 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 deep. The advantage with Push Back Racking is it's ability to provide the user with dense storage without having to drive in to the rack system. Push Back Rack is commonly referred to as LIFO (Last in First Out) system. There is no rear access to a Push Back Rack so typically they require less space. Installation of Push Back Rack is typically more expensive than other Pallet Rack.
